The portal situation
We have not verified a dedicated compliance portal for University of CA-Berkeley. - Federal WH-347 weekly when federal money is in the project, with the Statement of Compliance signed (U.S. Department of Labor).
- Records on demand. A written request for certified payroll records starts a 10 day clock. Miss it and the penalty is $100 per worker per calendar day, enforceable by withholding from your progress payments (Labor Code 1776).
Working for a public agency
Whoever the awarding body is, California's baseline does not move: on a registered public works project you file eCPRs directly with DIR at least monthly under your own PWCR registration, and you answer any Labor Code 1776 records request within 10 days or face the $100 per worker per day penalty.
